Covid and Lockdown stopped play for so long! But, we're back up and running now, and here is a selection of what we've been doing so far this year……………. 

19^th February 2022 The Indoors Bowls Club 50^th Wedding Anniversary - Music included many disco and Soul tracks 

20^th April A work-related Family Fun Day. The guests were all foster children so I played a mixture of current hits for all of the age range.

30^th April - 5^th Birthday party I don’t normally offer children’s parties, but this was a special for a friend’s daughter whose favourite style was Disney music! We also played music from other popular childrens films 

28^th May - Retirement party, with a wide range of music including rock, disco, reggae and current chart hits 

4^th June - All day local event for the Queen’s Jubilee, I was asked to provide background music all day, then in the evening we had party music with requests from all the residents! This is my third outdoor event for residents in “The Close” and I have been booked for a wedding as a result of this. 

10^th June Old Spot Pub, Filton I provided background music and PA for an AgeUK charity event 

23^rd July 70^th Birthday party at Chipping Sodbury Golf Club I played general party music with Irish jigs and old style country music included 

9^th October Trinity Church Bristol Charity event for AgeUK I played music by requests

12^th October Extra Care Retirement Home, Fishponds Charity event for AgeUK 5-8pm, mostly requested music 

12^th November 2022 90^th Birthday party I was asked for Rat Pack/Swing music with an old time singalong later. So we started with the Rat Pack/swing and moved to the singalong at around 9.30. They were all singing to “Roll out the Barrel”, “Pack up your Travels” as well as more modern music like “Delilah” and “Sweet Caroline”.

28th January 2023, AgeUK having another charity event at Trinity Church in Bristol. All are welcome to come along so you can see me in action!
